I'm a marketing manager focused on details, deadlines and deliverable outcomes. As the manager of marketing strategy and operations at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, I work to make an impact in our community every day. With a decade of experience as a reporter and an additional seven years working on a marketing team with a heavy, diverse workload, I excel in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Through transitional periods, I’ve been able to quickly pick up new tools, systems and technology, increasing efficiency and maximizing time and effort.A bit about my life outside of work: Music means the world to me. I have a particular fondness for bands like The Smiths, The National. PIXIES, LCD Soundsystem and Matthew Good. My love of music led me to radio broadcasting. In high school, it's where I found my best friends. In college, it's where I found my wife. Now, I'm a co-founder, board member and DJ at Ferndale Radio, a nonprofit low-power radio station broadcasting from The Rust Belt Market on 100.7 FM in and around Ferndale. In short, I'm extremely passionate about the things I'm interested in.
