I finished a research paper on the issue of Hepatitis C among the homeless population in New Zealand. Throughout this internship, I communicated with my two placement co-ordinators to ensure I was on the same path as their guidance. The conclusions from the finding presented that hepatitis C testing among homeless should be compulsory in order to prevent greater health and social complications. However, we found that that the homeless population usually dealt with trauma that results in them having complex needs.
