Co-managed the Small Wind Testing Facility at Beech Mountain. Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of 7 wind turbines, rated from 300 watts to 3 kW, balance of system components (various inverters, charge controllers, battery banks) maintenance and troubleshooting, data collection and analysis, and testing of experimental turbines. Assist in micro hydro workshops covering system design and site resource assessments.Operated small scale "Solar Lab" built for experimentation, design, and testing. Responsible for maintenance of 2 roof mounted 1.4 kW grid-tied arrays, one single-axis passive tracking array, and one dual axis active tracking 1.5 KW pole mounted array. Collection of data utilizing a diverse set of pyranometers, pyrheliometers, and other meteorological instruments with a networked datalogger for real-time viewing and long term analysis.

Taught College level Physics in two different curricula: College Board Advanced Placement - AP Physics 1 International Baccalaureate Program - IB Physics SLThese classes are taught at the college level and provide a rigorous timeline to fulfill college credit requirements including 30% educational time towards experimentation. Focus is maintained on inquiry based thinking and project based learning (PBL), also to include student experiment design. Main topics are Kinematics (1D and 2D), Dynamics, Rotational Motion, and Electricity Fundamentals. Included in curriculum is an overview of Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, and fundamentals of Calculus.
