Hello! I am Caio Passos, an enthusiastic Software Engineer who is presently involved with Hive Computer Vision in Salvador, Brazil. My path in technology has combined a strong grounding in software development with a keen interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning.🚀 What I Do:I concentrate on advancing an AI-driven security detection system at Hive Computer Vision. Among other tasks I undertake are performance optimization, setting up Docker environments and developing real-time video streaming solutions. In addition, AI performance research has been my area of focus as I seek for unique ways to advance technology.🔍 Key Projects:Clusterit: Developed a Python script based on MobileNetV2 CNN for clustering images by similarity. TensorFlow was used to create the entire feature extraction pipeline that allowed for accurate visual similarity analysis.PokedexAPI: Created an extensive API with FastAPI for effective Pokémon data management. Seamless performance and data integrity were ensured by using Python, FastAPI, and SQLite.🎓 Education:SENAI: Software Development Technician (2023) – For our final project, my team and I developed a Malicious Text Detection system. We gathered data through web scraping, used YOLO for text chat detection in video-frames, and applied OCR for text extraction. I then built a FeedForward Neural Network with TensorFlow Keras to classify and detect harmful text effectively.UNIFACS: BSc Computer Science candidate (2027) – Currently pursuing my degree with a comprehensive curriculum covering various aspects of computer science, including programming, data structures, algorithms, and software development. One of the projects involved developing CRUD applications using Java, but my studies extend across the full spectrum of CS principles and practices.
