• Performance Management: Manage a team of 4 direct reports to develop and drive results for student, teacher, and leader performance metrics across three schools through a progress monitoring cycle, data analysis, weekly leadership meetings, and strategy. Execute studies with external partners such as Mathematica Policy Research to determine EMKS long-term impact and effect size compared to local schools. Design and implement internal structures for evaluation including student and staff surveys, assessment predictions, and measures of effectiveness. • Communications: Run external communications by identifying opportunities to enhance our student’s college-application process as well as national staff recruitment. Prepared materials to earn EMKS award of Teach For America Schools to Learn From, the Ryan Award, a place in the Charter Network Accelerator, and annual earned media pieces for results. Internally, I own crafting messaging of all key priorities through strong results presentations that “move the elephant”, individually coaching all senior leaders on delivery and an inspirational presence, and creating successful change management for major organization-wide decisions. • Operations: Created EMKS’s first network team, which is responsible for planning assessment cycles and external opportunities for students, running performance on attendance, execute all data reporting, and manage student recruitment and enrollment.

My role is to translate subject matter expertise and stakeholder feedback into new product development and partnerships with industry leaders. •Business Development: Prepared successful responses for major competitive contracts, manage partnerships with major SIS and assessment vendors to develop extractors, prepare and present business cases to state legislatures • Project Sponsorship: Primarily responsible for transitioning new teams of project managers and business analysts from contract to project plan for technical implementations, including interim client management, cost and scope definition, and designing new features• Functional Management: Built capacity of new client services team members through training, continued professional development, and work review process• Educator Training: Designed and implemented module-based training for over 4,000 educators in four states, including delivering training to end-users and trainers

Developed program evaluation system that aligned reporting with program goals to strengthen results. Also managed application and certification process for 50 grantees in the Texas – Science Technology Engineering and Math initiative to improve college and career readiness.

In the face of school closure, led PS 230 to the 6th largest gain in NYC schools on test scores in 2009 through year-long, targeted interventions, managed after school program, and unprecedented staff collaboration. Led 30 staff members to develop daily use of data in their classrooms in all subjects through personal coaching, grade-team work, and highly-attended volunteer training sessions. Published study of effectiveness of fluency curriculum designed to meet the needs of school population.

Taught 3rd grade English Language Learners in The Bronx for three years. Designed curriculum and data-centered evaluation methods to make significant gains each year; over 1.5 years growth in reading and 90% mastery of all math standards. Voted by colleagues to serve on School Leadership Team with administration and parents to detail budget, safety, curriculum, and programming issues for the school
