I am passionate about using financial analysis. I find great joy in using financial analysis to put tools in the hands of business leaders and employees alike to provide greater confidence in decision making, to create efficiency and to motivate people in the work that they do. I believe that data has the power to make a company thrive, but it requires accurate and efficient ways to organize and display it in non-cryptic ways to create value. This is where financial analysis shines the brightest.I graduated in 2020 from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance Risk Management and Insurance. While I was there, I had the privilege to be a part of the Business Honors program; a 2-year cohort-based program that required interviewing by a panel of professors to be selected. In this program I took classes such as Data Analysis, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Operations Management and many more.After college I began my career in Finance and found my passion for innovation and efficiency. I have experience in creating and generating complex financial reports, interpreting financial data to create value for executives, cash flow management budget creation, creating advanced excel spreadsheets to organize and present data, risk management and general accounting (i.e. creating invoices, billing, processing accounts payables and accounts receivable, investigating drivers for variances in company’s financial statements).Special projects:I frequently create complex Excel spreadsheets for other departments in the company to help them with efficiency problems or to innovate better ways to do essential tasks. I am also often recruited by the CEO or CFO to create Excel tools for high level projects that affect the company as a whole (e.g. creating an excel tool to help the CEO determine product price increases). Additionally, I am tasked with researching, selecting and implementing new software to better meet the needs of the company in place of current software or for new aspects of the company (e.g. researching and implementing a new shipping software application for the new company website). Lastly, cash flow management projects to create better forecast models.
