I have a lot of experience working at movie theaters; from cleaning the bathrooms, to managing the entire staff. I have a passion for cinema and enjoy seeing a wide swath of individuals come to see the same movies. I enjoy working one-on-one with employees and customers, but I also excel on my own. One of my proudest work accomplishments was streamlining the process of setting-up, screening, and breaking-down movies for special Outdoor Movie screenings put on by Red River Theatres. What had been a cumbersome task that included hauling multiple pieces or hardware (a DVD player, projector, small flatscreen television, and a plethora of cables) and playing movies off of discs became a simpler process involving two pieces of hardware (a laptop, projector, and HDMI cable), and converted digital files (eliminating the risk of damaged discs). I enjoyed making the process of screening movies outdoors easier because offering that type of programing is a great way to not only share cinema with the local community, but also acted as publicity for the small business.
