I'm going to come right out an say it here -- I am bad at talking about myself, which makes staring at a blank box called "Talk About Yourself" somehow infinitely more anxiety-inducing than working on a full stack of code. So I'll get right to it.I am an application engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing scalable, highly-available API's which support crucial financial functions at an enterprise level. In my career, I have moved from primarily developing on Java Spring only, to a full-stack Kubernetes engineer operating within a fully CICD/GitOps environment.I also enjoy working in a team setting very much! My experience with collaborative work is that it almost always results in a better end product. I have a lot of experience with guiding new engineers (either new to the company, or new to the profession from college) through their beginning process and getting them comfortable to start delivering. I have also worked as the primary internship point-of-contact for teams I am on and have acted in a mentorship role in that capacity as well.I am excited to bring these skills with me to wherever I may end up down the road. Developing myself leads me to develop my junior partner's skills, and you know what they say about rising tides... !
