I do a little bit of everything here. When i'm hosting I am the first contact with the customer. Making sure to greet them in a friendly manner and assist in making sure there experience is a great. Also I manage the waitstaff and bus boys. Making sure to help the waitstaff with anything they need and not to give them to many tables at once. As for bus boys making sure they are keeping up and not fooling around or doing their work. Hosting is my main job, but I also cook every Sunday morning and bar tend once in awhile. Bar tending and cooking are very similar positions. Both positions require quick decision making and being quick. When bar tending I have to also engage with each customer to make sure they have a great experience. When cooking working as a team is big part of being successful. Communication is key when working as a team and is a skill I have learned that we will help me in both the work world and life. When the owner is not there or is on vacation I act as the owner. I'm responsible for running the restaurant. I have to make quick decisions and resolve issues quickly. Also I do the bookkeeping when he is away from the business.

Look for leads on a weekly basis. Qualify leads and then input them in to CRM. Organize the design room and order any literature that we may need. Answer phone calls and direct customers to the right person. Receive orders in the warehouse when operations manager is out on a job or not in the office. Process time cards for our warehouse workers. Order office supplies and anything in general the office might need. Help out the staff with anything they need.

Having a strong work ethic to keep motivated to do the same job everyday. Working in a fast pace environment with cleaning, setting up, and making sure things are perfect for roughly 200-300 rooms. Working in a team environment to make sure daily tasks are done on time
