As a Cyber Risk & Security Analyst works to ensures that managing information system related security risks is consistent with the organization’s mission/business objectives and overall risk tolerance established by senior leadership. Planning and monitoring of the Information Security Management System for Indicators of Compromise (IOC) in order to prevent or detect unauthorized access or actions to the network and computing infrastructure. Responsibilities of this position include the following: • Participates in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to verify that the risk of change to networks and infrastructure is controlled and documented. • Attends as a member of the Informatics Architecture Solutioning Committee (IASC) ensuring the maintenance of security as part of the organizational systems and network architecture. • Serves as the security subject matter expert in projects to assess security requirements and controls and ensures that security controls are implemented as planned. • Works closely with IT and development teams to design secure infrastructure solutions and applications, facilitating the implementation of protective and mitigating controls. • Provides management with risk assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical issues that may affect customer, or organizational security objectives. • Communicates with multiple departments and levels of management in order to resolve technical and procedural cyber security risks. • Design, configure and maintain Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools to Monitor, alert and report in network and infrastructure security status. • Provides senior leadership with reports and metrics on cyber security related incidents and activities.
