This position balanced perfectly alongside my other summer duties and was an environment where I could develop both skills as a sports coach and a life role model to the youth. The biggest outcome I got out of this experience was pushing myself to be in uncomfortable situations such as coaching a whole class of up to 6 athletes by myself, which not only helped me develop social skills and become a confident leader and director but also helped me continue to improve on my problem solving and improvisation. Worked alongside many other confident and competent coaches who supported me during this amazing experience.
