I am a retired athlete who ran semi-professionally for 2 years after competing for the University of Arkansas. My degree was related to this as I studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in kinesiology. I was also a Graduate assistant coach of the University of Arkansas Cross-Country and Track and Field team for a semester which showed a unique perspective into something I have been immersed in for many years.Being part of both collegiate and professional running teams required me to have excellent interpersonal skills and I believe having these social interactions has allowed me to thrive in whatever situation I find myself today.After my time as a professional runner, I perused a lifelong passion of cars by becoming an apprentice automotive technician for a year. This was a highly informative experience and I hope to one day work in the automotive industry again.
