About Cameron Clarke

I’m a student and health educator currently working as an Environmental Health Fellow at WE ACT for Environmental Justice, and studying medicine at Columbia University VP&S.I'm originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, and went to Howard University for undergrad, where I studied community health education and biology. After Howard, I pursued graduate degrees in evidence-based social intervention, policy evaluation, and public policy at the University of Oxford.Before Oxford, I worked on health issues in a variety of capacities and in a number of organizations, including the National Institutes of Health, the D.C. Superintendent of Education, the Baltimore City Health Department, and Children’s National Hospital. Since Oxford, I have worked in public health and public policy at Planned Parenthoood Federation of America, as an Equity and Justice Fellow at Columbia University, and on issues of health justice, environmental justice, and decarceration with organizations including White Coats for Black Lives, New York Docs, NYC Against Segregated Healthcare, and WE ACT for Environmental Justice, among others.Outside of work, I'm an avid biker, hiker, and rock climber.
