The past three years I have spent in my masters program while working in start up biotech learning powerful computer programing software including R, Python, Minitab, SAS, SQL, and Venus has opened my eyes to what is possible when applying statistics and code to real world problems. The niche I have found that is at the intersection of both my degrees, my natural talents, and my passion is laboratory automation development and bioinformatics. I love making companies and teams more efficient using liquid handling robots and programming scripts to eliminate the monotonous tasks. Giving the scientists more time to do the actual science, and experimental design. I bring more than just my hard technical skills to my work. My endless devotion to self improvement, studies in stoicism, and countless humbling trials in the field have made me unflappable in any situation. I approach all challenges with a positive attitude and find myself naturally leading with equanimity no matter the circumstances.
