I am a student at FSU studying Retail Entrepreneurship and minoring in Italian. Studying abroad in Florence, Italy for my first semester inspired me creatively as I learned about fashion practices in Italy, and challenged me to go outside of my comfort zone by living in an unfamiliar place. I have experience running a small business where I designed, crafted, and sold one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. I have found success in selling to local customers because I am able to speak one-on-one with customers about style, budget, and other requests to craft the perfect piece. I also put my creativity to practice by designing graphics for the Buddhist Student Association at FSU and by being a stylist assistant for Strike magazine, as well as directing photoshoots with my friends in my spare time. I am most interested in the styling aspect of retail and finding ways to make the industry more sustainable. I am ready to utilize my creativity, customer service skills, and leadership knowledge in the retail industry. Currently, I am looking for a summer internship and would love to hear about any opportunities.
