With over a decade of experience in the fitness and sports industry, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals achieve their personal best. My journey began as a personal trainer, where I spent 11 years honing my skills and building a strong foundation in fitness training. From 2013 to 2018, I worked at the Oshman Family JCC, where I not only provided personalized training sessions but also initiated and led outdoor bootcamp groups across the Bay Area peninsula. In 2018, I relocated to Sydney, Australia, and continued my passion for personal training independently. My commitment to fitness and well-being has always been at the forefront of my professional life.In 2019, I transitioned into basketball coaching, bringing my expertise to club teams, public high schools, and private high schools. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of coaching and mentoring young athletes, helping them develop their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In 2020, I took up casual work with New Dimensions OZ, a family-owned toy and games company. While continuing to train clients and small groups part-time and coach high school basketball, I worked as a storeman, handling order picking, packing, stock management, and social media marketing. This role allowed me to develop skills using apps like Canva and Capcut. In 2023, I joined Metcash as a picker at Campbells Wholesale. Although I had to say goodbye to basketball coaching, I brought the same positive and constructive energy to the workplace to motivate my colleagues. Starting in August, I was appointed overseer of the special contract customers, "Cross Dock," by November. I was also recommended for the Frontline Leadership course the following year. From February to May 2024, I completed the leadership course, continuing to develop my affiliative style on my LSI profile. Taking on more responsibilities at Campbells came with many challenges, but I approached them with the same mindset I encouraged in my athletes: mistakes are okay, just get up and learn from them. In September 2024, I was promoted to Risk & Compliance Manager and Safety Coordinator. This role allows me to apply the same principles with my team members that I do with my PT clients and athletes, coaching my colleagues in a professional context.I still train a few clients part-time because I love building relationships and coaching others in health and wellness. I am also very excited to make an impact on safety for my colleagues at our site and training for new starters.
