Current"Analyzes data requests/technology planning – provides technical assistance to program areas. Collaborates to define requirements and communicates issues and needs to vendor. Documentation is maintained on SharePoint. Project Leadership/KDE Liaison -supports a large office and at the same time works on Federal Reporting. Works with program area data stewards to define requirements to enhance system functionality, data quality and availability. Data Quality/Testing – Performs testing of new system functionality and ETL data extracts. She communicates requirements to programmers and issues found in testing. Defines requirements documentation- Works with program areas to define system needs. Communicates well with vendor on needed system changes. Point person on Kindergarten Readiness work and has been keeping work on track for summer completion. Documentation & Cross functional collaboration – Reviews vendor documentation on system changes and communicates these internally and with program areas. Leads data quality initiatives and looks for ways to add verification tools ex: ad-hoc & custom reports to system districts and program areas can use. Worked to creates new reports that can be used to verify data between state and district edition. Communicates with program areas to ensure updates are available for KSIS Newsletter. Technical Assistance – training new employee for Federal Reporting, continue to be back-up for this work but is transitioning out of lead role. Creates ad-hoc reports to help with data validation and reporting. Provides direction to programmers by defining requirements for extracts and feedback through testing. Communication – excellent communicator. Shows initiative but at the same time communicates with director and team on on-going work. Keeps director apprised of Basic Participation Agreement budget and changes. "
