I was responsible for the contract administration on various engineering projects (traffic/roading, civil/water, coastal maintenance, reserves/landscaping); from writing preliminary reports to the tendering stage, through to compiling contract documentation (contract documents, specifications and schedule of quantities), onsite checking of quantities, processing of invoices and payment variations, to filing and closing out jobs. During this process, I was continually in contact with clients and contractors, providing progress updates and negotiating any changes to the scope of the works.
