Senior Instructional Designer supporting the Federal Systems Integration and Management (FEDSIM) Center's eLearning, Training and Development team. FEDSIM is a part of the Office of Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) within the Federal Acquisition Service of the General Services Administration (GSA). I am an innovative, dedicated senior instructional systems designer and senior training specialist involved in curriculum design, content management, and training solutions in a fast paced client-based environment. I lead teams through assessing client needs, designing instructional approach, developing materials, tools, and courses, implementing the solution, and evaluating project effectiveness. As an instructional systems designer with a knack for content, process, policy, quality control, and copy editing, my forte is creatively re-imagining technical and procedural content to be more user-friendly and understandable from a variety of perspectives. I am also a skilled facilitator who deploys in-person and distance-learning workshops. I enjoy creating web-based platforms to support constantly evolving learning needs using screen-share software, micro-learning tools, self-paced training initiatives, interactive simulations, bite-sized animated videos, and instructional demos using the most up-to-date technology and methodology. I work closely with WordPress, WebEx, distance learning software, Adobe Suite, Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, Lync, SnagIt, Photoshop, Camtasia, Visio, Blackboard, PowerPoint, and other customized and government-hosted proprietary software. I've previously deployed and facilitated over 160 Webinars for more than 1200 online stakeholders/end users at 130 VHA Medical Centers and over 530 Community-based Outpatient Centers across the nation. Company was awarded additional option year extension, in part, due to consistently excellent evaluation reports, positive participant feedback, client satisfaction, and our ability to recognize areas for improvement and actively pursue developing the user experience.
