Responsible in monitoring, reviewing and completing technical program analysis on drinking water systems in Pennsylvania. I have a mid-level understanding of SAS (Software, Analytics & Solutions). However, I am learning more how the SAS Program helps resolve key water issues in Pennsylvania, particularly with field operators of water systems. In addition, I am responsible for the Drinking Water Electronic Laboratory Report (DWELR) registrations for water systems throughout Pennsylvania. The water authorities in Pennsylvania need to be registered in DWELR in order to report their monthly data in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) GreenPort System. The DEP GreenPort system allows DEP to keep records on water authorities in Pennsylvania and thus helps Pennsylvania maintain a safe water system.

Assisted customers as a seasonal employee with the Inside Garden Department

Extensive knowledge of Health Care data base sources (e.g. Kaiser Family Foundation - The Annie E. Casey Foundation programs) along with Federal Government data programs. Put together Microsoft Excel data sheets outlining different Medicaid categories of subgroups in areas like gender, ethnicities, income etc. The Medicaid Excel data sheets helped the Department of Human Services understand how different sub-categories compare and decipher what type of action was needed to improve Medicaid funding. Furthermore, I put together comparison graphs in Microsoft Excel on dual eligible enrollment in the Medicaid Management Care throughout the United States and Pennsylvania. The graphs assisted the Department of Human Services in identifying ways to improve Medicaid coverage. Effectively utilized the Department of Public of Human Services Executive Dash Board in obtaining monthly data on different public assistant programs. This information was successfully inputted on the Department's Monthly Management Report. The data provided the Department with better understanding on what programs where working or needed improvements. Worked in the Department of Human Services legislative office from June to November 2011. Responsible for overseeing the legislative inquires for the Office of Medical Assistance Programs. Successfully resolved constituent issues involving medical assistance programs by working closely with the Pennsylvania Legislative offices and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services program offices.

Assisted a professor at Penn State Harrisburg on a technology transfer grant. Helped the professor with identifying local colleges and universities that had R&D programs on technology development. Worked with Microsoft Excel in putting results of technology transfer from these learning institutions in categories of R&D. This allowed Penn State Harrisburg to have a better understanding of what new technologies were being developed at smaller learning institutions and how to help bring these technologies into the market place.

Reviewed land appraisals, land surveys, legal descriptions, farm inspections along with data entry of farm statistics. Critiqued agricultural property appraisals for land purchases. Helped applicants to the program receive an extra $100,000 by finding errors by land appraisers through mathematically calculated numbers on appraisals. Presented farm recommendations at State Agricultural Land Preservation Board meetings.

Administered the Agricultural Rural Youth Grant Program - Facilitated and researched available state and federal grant/loan programs. Provided leadership in overseeing the Agricultural and Rural Youth Grant Board in its successful implementation of the Agricultural and Rural Youth Grant Program. Oversaw an annual budget of $100,000 to $110,000. Awarded 247 Direct Grants in the amount of $556,575 and 35 Matching Grants in the amount of $262,173. Alternative Energy Marketing Administrator. Communicated with university, national labs, and federal government agencies on ways to bring renewable energy technology to the consumer. Provided the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture with a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in finding ways to help bring R&D programs into the market place. Worked with the Harrisburg regional USDA office in connecting farmers with the "Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Grant Programs" to become more energy efficient and utilize renewable energy technology on their farms.Trade Show Recruiter. Worked with the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association in recruiting small to medium size Pennsylvania food companies to participate at the Northeast Food Retail Show. These food companies that participated at the Northeast Food Retail Show successfully connected to new buyers and increased their sells and market territory.

Successfully researched governmental programs that enabled the Department of Agriculture to make informed and proper decisions on agricultural policy. These programs included the original Food Stamp Program along with budgetary numbers for state and federal farm programs and projects. Also, facilitated between federal, state and local governments as it involved implementation of governmental outreach programs to farmers and food processing businesses.

Worked on drafting legislation on rural economic development, agricultural international trade, and dog law. Also, developed legislation that resulted in better enforcement of dog laws along with octane testing for motor fuels and farmland preservation expansion. Conducted constituent services on behalf of State Representative involving agricultural and rural affair issues.

Worked on reports regarding other states public utility laws and regulations for the Consumer Affairs Committee. Assisted a Pennsylvania State Representative in researching and drafting legislation to make health care more affordable in Pennsylvania. Researched extensively drunk driving laws throughout the United States along with other legal issues for the House Judiciary Committee.
