Leads, directs, and manages the services and programs organized under Catholic Home Care. This includes directly supervising the Homemaker Program and Private Pay. Directly supervises Home Care Supervisors, Operations Manager, Staff Developer and other specific staff. Directly supervises the usage of Hometrak software. Determines programmatic goals and objectives and identifies service gaps. Builds and maintains a cohesive leadership unit and fosters a positive environment in the entire Department.

• Education professional responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of student behavior.• Work with students, families and staff to solve problems relating to school achievement and mental health.• Manage crisis situations as they arise.• Make appropriate referrals to community service agencies for students and families.• Provide in-school social service programs to enhance the social emotional development of students.• Assist teaching staff in classroom behavior management plans.• Work with outside educatonal support staff in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s).• Responsible for providing individual and group counseling services to students and families in the ALOP and the Youth Engaged in Schools (YES) programs.• Responsible for Student Council, Rock Stars, State and National testing coordinator, Homeless Education program and all other aspect of social service programing.

* Provide training and technical assistance to child care providers, community agencies and government agencies about Strengthening Families a national approach to preventing child abuse and neglect. * Provided technical assistance and consultations to child care programs and community agencies on Parent/Community Cafes. * National, State and Local trainer for Strengthening Families Tennessee.

Examines child care facilities for adherence with licensure and certification regulations, investigates complaints against licensed and unlicensed child care facilities, and makes recommendations for issuance, denial, or approval of licensure or certification.Provides training and technical assistance to child care providers and mentors recently hired Child Care Program Evaluators regarding federal and state mandates and State Board of Education policies: provides on the job training to new employees through job shadowing; identifies providers' training needs relating to children's health and safety, business development, budgeting, early childhood education, developmentally appropriate behavior management, or other needs based on observations, relevant law or policy changes, and discussions with providers; reserves training site; schedules speakers; conducts training demonstrations or lectures using educational materials and multimedia equipment.Coordinates interaction between child care agencies and government officials, suppliers, not-for-profits, or other groups: ensures the agency meets licensure or certification deadlines.Provides counseling to existing or proposed child care agencies to develop and improve programs and physical facilities: answers questions regarding issues related to licensure or certification and voluntary programs, including concerns about applications, grants, and rating assessment systems; determines potential barriers to licensure compliance and unique needs of individual program including facility expansion, playground renovation, age-appropriate curriculum, and wheelchair accessibility; develops recommendations regarding how to solve problems or make improvements; presents potential solutions to the agency through discussions and written communications.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of a daycare and after-school program. This includes:- Supervising 27 teachers, assistant teachers, office, maintenance and social service staff.- Assisting in the development and implementation of the Federal Head Start program.- Implementing staff development plans, which included conducting staff trainings.- Maintaining NAEYC Accreditation within the day care center.- Writing grants and proposals for State Pre-Kindergarten services.

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Head Start program. This included:- Assuring NAEYC Accreditation standards were maintained.- Performing management duties for a small Head Start program.- Conducting classroom observations and educational trainings with staff.- Responsible for the family support guidelines of Federal Head Start, which included monthly parent meetings, community assessments, family partnership agreements and parent training.- Providing referrals and follow-up for families in need of additional services.- Ensuring compliance with all licensing and funding sources.
