I am a senior Psychology major graduating from the University of Maryland, and I am interested in employment opportunities related to HR/data analysis, as well as connecting with professionals working in this industry.As someone interested in the motivations behind people’s thoughts and behaviors, Psychology fascinates me. From an academic standpoint, my passion surrounding the connections between psychology, workplace dynamics, and data-driven decision-making has driven me to take classes related to personal motivation, industrial-organizational psychology, and applied data analysis. From a work standpoint, my experiences as an employee within organizations have inspired me to stay curious about what psychologists can do to improve the general culture at work, the place where most people spend a large portion of their lives. These combined academic and professional experiences have inspired my interest in helping employees find meaning, fulfillment, and happiness in their professional lives. I believe that fostering employees' personal development naturally enhances workplace productivity and success, and I'm passionate about utilizing science and statistics to improve the employee experience.Improving life's meaning, in and out of the workplace, has become a passion of mine. I get joy from running and playing pickleball, cultivating strong interpersonal relationships, listening to podcasts, and journaling. I look forward to continuing to explore and learn about the connection between psychology and organizational well-being and am excited to contribute meaningfully to the creation of healthier, more fulfilling work environments.
