Lead organizer of Connecticut's largest Earth Day celebration. Woodbury Earth Day draws an estimated 5,000+ visitors who enjoy earth-friendly demonstrations, music, food, entertainment and education presented by more than 130 vendors and exhibitors. It is an event that focuses on protecting and improving the nature of our communities, our land and water, and ourselves.

Research and developed a methodology for "Riparian Corridor Assessment for Non-point Source Pollution". Field tested the methodology and completed an assessment of the Lower Beaver Brook Watershed, Keene, NH. Created and presented modeled and GIS mapped versions of results to the City.

Developed four new inquiry based lessons for school programs visiting the center. Presented live animal demonstrations. Exhibit interpretation.

Coordinated a scientific study on the arsenic removal efficacy of household water treatment systems. Study jointly funded and lead by Maine CDC, the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the United States Geological Survey.

Taught 400 students per month as a part of PWD's HydroLogics program. Coordinated National Drinking Water Week Celebration.

Coordinated watershed survey; trained volunteers; prepared final report. Constructed “NPS Pollution” web page. Administered Watershed Protection Grant program – distributed funds; provided outreach and implementation assistance to schools. Served 2 terms (11 months and 9 months). Both placements with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection - the first at the Northern Maine Regional Office, the second at the Central Office.
