Contractor - Data Remediation

 Responsible for Data Management policy-compliance deliverables by leading and/or participating in engagements to complete requirements such as data dictionary, enterprise data control catalogue, data glossary, data lineage, and several other policy requirements. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across DMI, risk, business, and technical groups to obtain the required information and details. Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements. Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues.  Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.  Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.  Create Domain Business Glossaries for sub-domains business terms and map all data elements for applications. Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data. Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members.  Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy.  Serve as relationship manager for a line of business.  Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.  Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies.  Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.

Sr. Business Analyst Certification of Business Rules and Data Governance in Mortgage Loan Origination systems. Analysis of matrix rule logic in proprietary Originations system and other UIs. Creation of Certification documentation, aligning technical specifications with business needs - managing through Stewardship teams to approve certification. Use of Jira, Trello, ServiceNow, Workfront and other sources for IT change management to certify and to suggest updates to mortgage systems as required. Use of Agile process to manage and report status.

• Update of existing Ellie Mae’s Encompass mortgage system reviewing functional requirements to define and develop structure of ruleset, executable flow of rules and technical rules and Fees, including IBM Decision Center/ODM and Athena Pricing model with Lender Price.
