As per the ‘No Wrong Door’ initiative that forms part of the LondonRecovery Programme, and in support of the Mayor of London's Good Work for All Londoner's mission, integration hubs have been set up across the four London sub-regional partnership areas to promote integration and partnership working to assist Londoner's most vulnerable to the risk of economic exclusion, trapped in low-pay insecure employment and cycles ofpoverty/deprivation.Local London spans nine London boroughs in the NE and SE of the capital. In this role, I am open to connecting with employers, community organisations, education/training providers, and individuals who serve the region and are open to collaboration and opportunities to support local people.

Author of the revised London Cancer Hub employment and skills strategy 2022. This paper has been prepared in anticipation of the creation of 13,000 jobs primarily in health and life sciences. Collaborating with local partners and businesses, setting out a roadmap to take forward the employment and skills priorities and secure opportunities for residents.

Building on the success of my previous employment and Southwark Council's success as London's top apprentice employer, this role was created to deliver Southwark’s manifesto promise to create 100 council internships that gave young borough residents a chance to begin their careers at the Council. The vision was to make Southwark a full employment borough but since COVID-19, the programme has supported Southwark's recovery and renewal effort and youth employment strategy. As the council lead on internships, I have been responsible for designing and implementing the programme as well as ensuring programme outcomes. In the programme’s first year, the programme on-boarded 33 interns (76% of which progressed to sustained employment outcomes within six months of programme completion). In this role, I held responsibility for the wellbeing, safeguarding and management of all interns across the organisation. I worked closely with our apprenticeships manager, L&D and HR BPs to deliver entry-level recruitment pathways within the organisation.
