About Caroline Webb

I am an experienced financial services professional with a background in derivative operations, client onboarding, relationship management and most recently recruitment. Despite a career based mainly in financial services, I consider myself to be a social scientist at heart. I am fascinated by the human experience and how our interactions (and perceptions) impact the self, society and the world.Having embarked on a career in investment banking and financial services, I evolved and took on various roles, both in London and New York. As well as technical expertise, I developed an interest in people, positive psychology and its impact on workplace success. This interest led me to undertake a MSc in Social Psychology at University of Surrey 2016/17. My research interest looked at whether a brief mindful meditation intervention could reduce gender differences in ‘internalisation of failure’ in the workplace.Upon completing my MSc, I accepted an opportunity in recruitment, which leveraged off my financial services background and helped re-pivot my career to being more people focused.I have recently enrolled in a Psychology of Kindness and Wellbeing at Work PG Certificate (Online) at University of Sussex which is due to start in September 2024.I am open to roles where I can add value and impact. As a person, I am curious and enjoy continuous learning.
