Junior Biosystems Engineering MajorClemson University | Coursework in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology & Agricultural Mechanization | Class of 2026As a biosystems engineering major with a special interest in ecological and agricultural law, sustainability is a top priority in my academics and future career. I enjoy working and learning at the intersection of quantitative science, sociology, and law. I am also the third generation to go through the Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering program at Clemson University and can attest to the versatility of the curriculum. My experiences have allowed me to have a comprehensive approach to agriculture, sustainability, and the critical role of policy and regulation. Beyond academics, I am actively involved in Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, Clemson Collegiate Farm Bureau, CU Block & Bridle, Collegiate Sportsmen and Women's Coalition, and Clemson Collegiate chapter of ASABE. I currently serve on the Clemson University Student Government through the Agricultural Affairs Committee. I am also engaged in research projects focusing on the intersection of wildlife conservation, production agriculture, and long-standing culture across the Bull Mountains of Montana. I am proficient in multiple field research techniques, including Brown's Planar Intercept method and standard vegetation sampling protocols.In the future, I plan to pursue higher education specializing in agricultural/engineering technology and natural resource policy. I aspire to become an advocate for sustainable consumption, wildlife protection, and resource management.
