I have held senior level roles in the public, private and not for profit sectors - working with a variety of stakeholders in industries which include healthcare, retail, electrical manufacture and wholesale, education, charities and local government. I have also held NED roles in the charity sector and continue to work in a voluntary capacity as a mentor with the CIPD. I am also a qualified coach, an NLP Master Practitioner and a Psychotherapist. I practice as a psychotherapist outside of the 'day job' holding evening only sessions for clients. I find I use the skills from my HR roles in my psychotherapy work. I am particularly passionate about EDIB and wellbeing in the workplace and have introduced numerous initiatives in various organisations including Stonewall Allyship, Mental Health Champions, Disability Networks and running Menopause workshops. I have experience of leading small and large HR & OD teams to improve efficiencies, streamline processes, implement OD initiatives and develop HR strategic interventions. I have led large scale change management projects; championing change, leading and inspiring others to drive business and cultural transformation, working in collaborative partnerships across matrix organisations and delivering successful projects such as HRIS integration and restructures including TUPE and mergers/acquisitions.Areas I believe are particular strengths include designing and developing competency frameworks, creating talent and performance management strategies, workforce planning, business coaching & mentoring, managing change, project management and leadership of functions to achieve enhanced performance and business aligned service delivery.I am mentally resilient, flexible, adaptable and emotionally intelligent. A strong communicator, I am used to dealing with a variety of individuals including within difficult and challenging environments.
