CurrentMs. Merek is responsible for security architecture, identity and access management architecture, and enterprise infrastructure across numerous programs and organizations within the Federal Government. As a consultant to the Office of the Chief Information Officers, she provides decision-makers with the critical information needed to plan, execute, and operate a successful IT portfolio. In this capacity, she has led disaster recovery planning for enterprise data centers, developed a next-generation security architecture, and an identity management architecture and leading complex transformation and optimization programs. Ms. Merek has worked with senior officials to craft an agency-appropriate implementation of HSPD-12, developed facility plans for the headquarters credentialing center, and designed and implemented the data model used for credentialing of more than 150,000 employees and contractors. She has represented her clients on the Federal CIO's Identity, Credentialing and Access Management Subcommitee and working groups and Information Security and Identity Management Committee.
