As a Mine Rehabilitation and Closure Advisor at Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes), I am passionate about the complexities and challenges involved in closure planning for mining operations. I have experience in navigating closure projects in Queensland and Western Australia, two states with different regulatory and environmental contexts.I have a Bachelor of Environmental Management from The University of Queensland, with a major in Sustainable Development. I have developed core competencies in field work, data analysis, and written communication, which I apply to my current and previous roles. I have contributed to the development of Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure Plans (PRCPs), the preparation of Estimated Rehabilitation Cost (ERC) submissions, and the project management of various closure planning and technical studies. I am motivated by the goal of achieving sustainable and responsible outcomes for the mining industry and the communities.
