About Carrie Olson

I served for 8 years in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. During the Clinton Administration in 1994, the 289th MP Company was re-activated and attached to the 4th Battalion of the 3rd US Infantry Regiment at Fort Myer in Virginia. I was chosen and given the highest honor and privilege of being one of the first females allowed in the elite Presidential Escort (also known as The Old Guard). In March of 2002 I received an Honorable Discharge.I am a creative thinker and problem solver. I have excellent customer service skills, I am highly organized and pay attention to detail. I learn quickly and adapt to every situation if and when the need arises. I strive for excellence in everything I do no matter the task. I am self-motivated and require minimum supervision. I consistently assess my work performance and tasks to ensure that I am preforming my responsibilities in the most efficient and effective way. I have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and am proficient with Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. I also have experience with Windows and various facility systems such as Cerner, McKesson Star, Solution1, Navigator, Brightree and Homecare HomeBase. I completed a Spanish Course for Healthcare Professionals through Anne Arundel Community College.
