I want to leave a legacy and make a difference in the lives of those I train, manage or collaborate with. I’m all about making people feel valued for what they are doing, while using my sense of humor and communication skills when I can. And at the end of the day, I want to continue doing what I love to do while cultivating a good work/life balance. I’m able to do all of this at Delta Faucet CompanyAs a Customer Solutions Supervisor, I manage eight associates to make sure our customer orders are being fulfilled and shipped efficiently while meeting department goals. My team works specifically with domestic big-box retailers, along with domestic trade and retail rep agencies. We handle phone calls, reports, and unexpected issues or challenges on a daily basis, while improving processes and making sure our customers come first. It’s definitely never boring. I’m also a facilitator for Integrity Service, a comprehensive training process that teaches, supports and recognizes positive customer-focused behaviors. This is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, because when participants complete the course, they have the opportunity to give a speech at a final celebration. When I hear them express what they learned, and how they can’t wait to implement new strategies, it makes me feel wonderful. But as serious as I am about my work, I also have a lively sense of humor. I’m well-known for my fondness of movie quotes (and cleverly working them into conversations). Having fun and making people laugh is awesome, whether in the office or at home with my family that I adore. It’s a mix of sarcasm and good timing, which helps others relax and feel comfortable. My love for writing and editing comes in handy too, so any time I can help make a message stronger or communicate something better, I’m happy to do so. Ultimately, I believe that anyone can provide a good brand. So it’s all about who provides the better service. And this is exactly what we do at Delta.
