After working as a counselor at the Deerfield Park District, I was selected to be promoted to Site Director of my camp. This role came with expanded responsibilities, which included managing all campers at my site, providing instruction and support to counselors, interacting with and providing accurate information to parents, and planning weekly activities. I still was heavily involved with the responsibilities held by counselors. I helped run games and resolved conflicts between campers.
