Job Responsibilities in Apple1. Manufacturing Design• Work with suppliers for Manufacturing Process Design.• Work with suppliers for Fixture Design2. Basic Responsibilities• Production line set-up.• Production line Qualification (by FAI, CpK & Cosmetic Review)• Process & Process Parameter Lock for each production stage• Seek for technical issue & work out solutions/corrective actions before mass production.• Ensure to achieve required process capability before mass production. • Providing technical support for secondary process such as CNC Machining, Laser Welding, Laser Etching, Sand Blasting, Buffing…etc.• Engineering Test & follow up.• Work with machine suppliers for Special Purpose Machine. 3. Project Follow Up• Follow up technical/cosmetic issues with related Apple Team(PD, SQE) & suppliers, for improvement before mass production.• Work with related Apple Team(PD, SQE) & suppliers for the discussion regarding to cosmetic deviation or spec. relief due to process limitation • Cope with customers to suggest design changes/design modification according to actual production capability

Job Responsibilities in WKK1. Management• Maintain project team’s daily operation for OEM project.• Build up engineering system to improve workflow. 2. Engineering Service• Quotation making.• Follow up & fix the mechanical issue for OEM project according to customer spec. / requirement. • Sheet metal parts & tooling follow up• Plastic parts & tooling follow up• Standard parts selection.• Packing design & verification.• Engineering test follow up.3. Negotiate with Internal Customer• Cope with related colleagues such as IQC, QA to check & review all mechanical issues for the parts / project.• Cope with production line to solve technical problem during production.4. Negotiate with External Customer• Cope with suppliers for technical discussion & follow up. • Cope with customer for technical discussion & follow up.• Cope with customers to suggest design changes/design modification according to actual production capability.

Job Responsibilities in KPM 1. Management• Maintain daily operation of manufacturing engineering department.• Build up engineering system to improve workflow. 2. Engineering Service• Quotation making.• Sample making.• Review production routing (process) to ensure it is correct for the production of high precision mechanical parts.• Monitor, Check & Improve CNC Programming, Machining Tool Path, Fixture Design & Test Cut before mass production.• Monitor Static & Dynamic Measurement (by Functional Test cut) to ensure precision of machine periodically. 3. Coordinator for Productivity Improvement Project• Coordinate engineers to accomplish productivity improvement projects.• Re-design and improve existing fixture system to reduce machine set up time.• Re-standardize existing fixture system to increase the flexibility between CNC M/Cs.• Build up Test Cut Team to improve efficiency of CNC test cut. • Review & Improve CNC programming, Machining tool path to became more reasonable & thus reduce machining hours.• Keep searching & apply new machining technology to simplify the production process. • Reduce machining allowance/surface by using near net shape materials such as casting to reduce machining hours & production cost. 4. Negotiate with Internal Customer• Training local engineer.• Cope with related colleagues such as QC, production engineers e.t.c. to have quality meeting periodically. Mainly focus on quality issue, work out action plan to fix those issues.5. Negotiate with External Customer• Cope with vendors for updating new cutting tools, coolant/oil & new machining technology.• Cope with vendors for technical supporting from external.• Cope with customers to suggest design changes/design modification according to our machining capability.6. Others• Test cut & Evaluate new cutting tools• Machining parameters optimization.• Workshop layout plan. • Design & tailor made tooling which is not available in the market.

Job Responsibilities in L.K.1. CNC machine demonstration.• Work piece test cut demonstration.• Machining capability demonstration.2. CNC machine servicing.• Machine installation.• Machine maintenance.3. Fixture Design.• Tailor made Pneumatic / Hydraulic fixture design.• Automatic clamp fixture design & implementation.

Job Responsibilities in ASM1. Production• Supervised workers, supervisors, group leaders & engineers at CNC machining workshops to complete production task of high precision mechanical parts.• Allocate work piece to machines to achieve the best utilization.• Review production routing(process) to ensure it is correct for the production of high precision mechanical parts.• Monitor, Check & Improve CNC Programming, Machining Tool Path, Fixture Design & Test Cut before mass production.• Monitor Static & Dynamic Measurement (by Functional Test cut) to ensure precision of machine periodically. 2. Leader for Productivity Improvement ProjectsLead engineers in CNC workshops to accomplish productivity improvement projects. Contents of project are as follow: • By applying Production Line Balancing, Time Study for Productivity Improvement Projects.• Re-design & improve fixture systems to reduce machine set up time & increase the flexibility between CNC M/Cs.• Build up Test Cut Team to improve efficiency of CNC test cut. • Keep searching & apply new machining technology to simplify the production process. • Reduce machining allowance/surface by using near net shape materials such as casting to reduce machining hours & production cost. 3. New Product Development• Cope with mechanical engineers to suggest design changes/design modification according to actual machining capability.• Cope with assembly engineers to deep dive assembly requirement, seek the potential area for productivity improvement.4. Negotiate with Internal Customer• Training local engineer.• Cope with related colleagues such as QC, production engineers e.t.c. to have quality meeting periodically. Mainly focus on quality issue, work out action plan to fix those issues.5. Others• Machining parameters optimization.• Design & tailor made tooling which is not available in the market.
