I am Carter Shellhouse a University of Florida graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Economic Geography. I am seeking a full-time position as a natural gas scheduler with on-the-job training to become a natural gas trader. My interest in natural gas scheduling and trading stems from my passion for critical thinking, analysis, and family ties to the industry.My internships at Raymond James and ETC Marketing gave me invaluable opportunities to strengthen and develop skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced professionals. As a Financial Services Adviser Intern at Raymond James I was tasked with generating financial reports, creating mock portfolios, and participating in executive calls. These responsibilities coupled with interning during the COVID-19 pandemic enhanced my analytical, communication, and adaptation skills. As a Natural Gas Scheduler Intern at ETC Marketing I was tasked with managing natural gas sales and purchases. Additionally, I was responsible for creating reports that presented data on daily capacity available and daily natural gas prices for varying pipelines and natural gas hubs. This internship challenged me to think critically and taught me the importance of effective time management. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, hiking, watching sports, and listening to podcasts.
