I have an MPhys from the University of Manchester where I studied modelling of open quantum systems through implementation of the open quantum walk with application to dissipative quantum computing algorithms. I have interned at quantum software company Riverlane where I worked again on quantum algorithms and applied my knowledge to quantum chemistry simulation.I am currently a member of the University of Bristol’s CDT in Quantum Engineering. During this I worked with Dieter Jaksch at the University of Oxford on quantum kernel methods and Noah Linden at University of Bristol on operator scrambling. In my first year I also worked with Cambridge Quantum's Compositional Intelligence group utilising quantum-inspired tensor networks for probabilistic modelling.The focus of my PhD now is on the quantum thermodynamics of Floquet engineered states in the presence of dissipation under supervision of Stephen Clark.Currently I am completing an internship at PsiQuantum working on implementation and resource estimation of fault tolerant quantum computing algorithms.
