Dr. Casey Babb is a Senior Fellow with the MacDonald Laurier Institute in Ottawa, an International Fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv, a Fellow with the Royal United Services Institute in London, England, a Research Fellow with the Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies at Carleton University, and an Instructor of International Security at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Ottawa, Canada. While Babb’s scholarly research on a variety of subjects related to global conflict has been published worldwide, he is perhaps most well-known for his expertise on Israeli security and his advocacy and efforts related to combating antisemitism. His views on antisemitism, Jewish life, and Israel's national security, have been featured in numerous publications, including in The Globe and Mail, The Times of Israel, The Hub, The Toronto Sun, The National Post, The Jerusalem Post, The Cipher Brief, and many others. As one of the country’s foremost experts on confronting antisemitism and Israeli security, Babb’s commentary on these issues has been sought by some of the world’s largest news outlets, including CNN, the CBC, the BBC, FOX News, CTV News, Global News, The Sun, NewsNation, and countless others.He holds degrees in Political Science and International Development (BA) from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, International Relations (MA) from York University in Toronto, and International Relations (Ph.D.) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, in Ottawa.
