• Direct and manage the development, operations and growth of school age programs.• Establish new program activities and expand programs within the community in accordance with the YMCA Association strategic plans.• Develop and manage multiple budgets. Meet fiscal objectives. Closely monitor revenue and expenses.• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and supervise assigned program staff and volunteers. Provide development and leadership.• Compile program statistics and provide data and reports as required. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in programs.• Provide leadership and support for branch management team, annual fund raising campaign, and volunteer committees/boards as assigned. • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations and agencies related to programs.• Develop, produce and distribute program information necessary to promote programs in accordance with branch marketing plans.• Ensure safety procedures are followed and that all programs comply with YMCA standards, all regulations and other applicable standards.• Ensure high quality programs through innovative program development evaluations and ongoing training of staff.• Ensure related facilities and equipment are well-kept and maintained

• Direct the operation of the City’s Bob L. Burger After School Enrichment (BASE) After school Program, Summer Day Camp, drop-in-child care and provide assistance to General Programs.• Monitor and create recommendations for budget adjustments.• Monitor and manage student enrollment, attendance, safety, discipline and staff-to-child ratio; hiring, training and supervising staff.• Perform record keeping, order supplies, conduct staff meetings, and manage budget related items.• Lead, direct, train, counsel and discipline, and evaluate staff. Address complaints and resolve customer and staff conflicts. • Meet with external groups and organizations to aid with the implementation of new and best inclusion practices as they pertain to registration and professional growth and development opportunities.• Maintain personnel files in accordance with state and city guidelines.• Assist with the coordination and oversight of various special events including the Quaker Oatmeal 5K, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, and Fall Festival. Responsibilities included marketing, event design, volunteer/staff supervision, event logistics and operations, and serving as an external liaison to event partners such as the Lion’s Club. • Secure building, equipment and program in accordance with city and department guidelines. Ensure areas and equipment used by program is cleaned and maintained.• Serve as the City liaison for the Youth Advisory Committee. Aid in connecting youth to appropriate City officials.
