In this position, I work with the Division of Community Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on the Community Health Media Center (CHMC). The CHMC is a repository of low-cost advertisements designed to create awareness about obesity and other chronic conditions and to promote healthy living. These advertisements can be ordered and used by local health departments and other non-profits across the country. As the Project Manager for the CHMC, responsibilities include:1. Managing regular meetings, project schedule, budget and monthly report2. Prepare CHMC minutes, agendas, and monthly reports3. Coordinating the CHMC Steering Committee4.
