I was an on Air DJ for Fort Lewis College's Community Radio Station. I had a weekly 2.5 hour show called "The Lonesome Death of Casey Smith" where I played & talked about music I found interesting. The radio station didn't dictate what I played or when I played...so long as the songs didn't have swear words. Because there was so much freedom, I was able to dive deep into the depths of music discovery. I associate this gig as am important pillar in my growth creatively. It opened my ears to so many unique musical worlds that otherwise would have been deaf to.
