Piloting duties include: (Flight time and experience is listed at the bottom of the resume.)-Understanding aircraft systems, theory of rotary wing flight, aerodynamics, VFR and IFR regulations, requirements and restrictions. -Calculating performance planning data -Maintaining thorough knowledge of emergency procedures, limitations and restrictions for all airframes flown. -Performing all 1-3000 level tasks per the Aircrew Training Manual to standard. -Performing proper pre-flight inspections prior to each flight. -Strictly adhere to proper procedures for all aspects of flight from start up through shut down. -Maintain a working knowledge of methods of equipment, facility, and service operations to operate safely and effectively in and around army aviation facilities and equipment.Additional duties include:-Company level Instructor Pilot-Comapny level Aviation Safety Officer-Unit Prevention Leader; administering monthly, quarterly, and 100% annual illegal substance screening (urinalysis) to 36 company level aircrew members.-Maintain Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear protective and test equipment for all company personnel.-Develop and implement the Commander’s Safety Program, Advise the commander on all issues of safety regarding flight, ground handling and maintenance. (Receiving on the job training, official training will be completed during the 2014 fiscal year at the Army Aviation Safety Officer Course)-Conducting accident investigation for any Montana National Guard ground or aviation incidents. (This is a new assignment; official training will be completed during the 2014-2015 fiscal year.)

Administer, manage and advise unit pre-mobilization training for a 45 member Network Support Company.-Advise commander on training requirements and proper delivery of training. -Provide subject matter expertise on all required training for a mobilizing unit.

Controlling unit Fire support systems -Tracking usage, rounds on hand, observer locations and other mission essential information for artillery and mortar units within the battalion. -Tracking and executing fire missions for all phases of operations. -Adhering to strict procedures and guidelines for asset usage and deployment. -Ensuring accurate and safe computations on all firing data.

Lead technician installing, programming, and troubleshooting low voltage control and audio video systems in multimillion dollar homes and commercial buildings. -Set the standards for quality control in installation and computer programming techniques and procedures for multiple software and hardware systems to be used by other technicians.-Maintain proficiency in troubleshooting complex low voltage systems and implementing corrections in a timely manner.

Production and quality control of Hitachi's mining dump trucks -Parts ordering, inventory management. -Maintenance scheduling, tracking and records keeping. -Inspection and oversight of contractor mechanics, welders, laborers and assembly technicians. -Reviewing technical, mechanical, structural and electrical drawings and schematics for proper assembly, development and troubleshooting. -Using strain and sheer force test equipment.I worked as an Assistant Project Manager for the assembly, delivery, and maintenance of Hitachi's EH4000, EH4500 and EH5000 model Diesel-Electric 300-400 ton dump trucks at the Cripple Creek and Victor gold mine in Cripple Creek, CO and later at La Mina De Cerrejon, Colombia, South America.At the Cripple Creek mine, I worked as part of a time study to determine the reasons for high unavailability for the Hitachi fleet. I worked with engineers to develop a list of conditions, tests, samples and procedures to determine how the unavailable time was being accrued and made recommendations and implemented policies to correct Standard Operating Procedures, improve production and use availability. While working at the Cerrejon mine in Colombia, we completed assembly and delivery of 12 Hitachi dump trucks to compete with 12 Caterpillar dump trucks for a 100+ unit contract. The contract was awarded based upon availability, service and maintenance costs and production. We completed the assembly of all 12 trucks ahead of schedule and maintained a 96% availability and Hitachi was awarded the contract for over one hundred more units.
