I’m an ambitious, resilient, and goal-oriented United States Air Force officer and third-year medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine pursuing anesthesiology. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. I have utilized my knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, and principles of mechanical, electrical, and materials science engineering to provide creative solutions to real world clinical needs. A few years of experience in academic medical device R&D prepared me to aid in the development of high-value health care products in the orthopedic medical device industry. I now eagerly anticipate the day I can provide care as a licensed physician.I am also passionate for photography and enjoy photographing landscapes of the American Southwest, as well as other landscapes. I served my honors college as their only school photographer and provided content for their marketing department. I am an outdoors adventure enthusiast and take every opportunity I can to hike, bike, run, camp, and explore, and have dabbled with the world of Ironman triathlons. As a result, I am very interested in health, exercise science, and wellness too. Always open to new opportunities and growth.
