• Analyze P&IDs to develop the piping specialty item list• Determine manufacturers for specialty items based on material specifications/design conditions to produce purchase descriptions in Material Manager (MatMan)• Prepare procurement packages for specialty items• Create line class specifications in accordance with ASME B31.3 in MatMan• Add piping components (pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, gaskets, etc.) and dimensions into MatMan line classes based on the material, pipe schedule, flange rating, corrosion allowance, etc. to be exported in Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) for modeling and viewed in Navisworks (project reviewing software by Autodesk)• Export specialty items in SP3D manually using catalog data bulk-load files• Test placement of piping components in SP3D • Create piping design instructions (PDIs) to provide guidance for labeling items on P&IDs and for designers to create/place items in SP3D• Utilize Coreworx (electronic document management system) and Nucleus (integrated EPC system) to access/markup/issue engineering design inputs, specifications, and procurement documents• Create 3D piping models based off isometrics in AutoPIPE to perform stress analysis
