I am currently working at BARK, makers of the flagship subscription service BarkBox, along with Super Chewer, BARK Eats, BARK Bright, and more! While at BARK, I have worked on teams such as experience recovery which focuses on turning the customer's negative experience around, Showdogs, which facilitates donation requests and partnership inquiries, and the Marketplace (Amazon) team where I focused on tracking customer reviews and reporting on possible improvements.During college, I worked in my local public library on breaks where I learned interpersonal skills, event planning, and community building. I am also skilled in creative and technical writing, as shown through my dedication to my creative writing projects in college and to my personal writing habit that I've maintained while working full time. Additionally, professional writing was a part of my career in college and at BARK, through classes, projects, and contacting functional team members and leaders in the company on behalf of customers at BARK. I will bring new ideas, perspectives, dedication, and a willingness to learn in whatever role I am in!While I have many leadership experiences, including as president of student organizations and as an orientation leader for two years, I have found that my leadership passion lies in being a part of a circle. I use my leadership to help others learn more, have their voices and ideas be heard, and to encourage diversity and inclusion.I also have experience with fundraising. At Otterbein University, I helped raise money for a new student scholarship fund by talking to local businesses about donating and ensuring that there were easily navigable avenues for individual donations, payroll deductions, and ongoing payments to the fund. This experience helped me learn to communicate the goals of the fund and the needs of the students it supported in an effective and concise manner in writing and in speaking.
