Hello, my name is Casey! I am currently a second-year undergraduate student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying Graphic Communication with a passion for user experience design and bettering the lives of everyday people through technology. I have always noticed keen attention to detail within myself, which has paid dividends in my strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks to the best of my ability.In addition to my passion for graphic design, I have always thrived in the connections I make within my community. Collaboration and communication have made the biggest difference in my life in terms of fostering a positive community and work culture. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered at my local food bank in Yolo County by helping at weekly food banks to give back to a community that had always served me. At Cal Poly, I have immersed myself in the student culture by joining several clubs including Her Campus (a student-focused weekly editorial focusing on graphic design and journalism), Mat Pica Pi (a graphic communication professional and social development club), and Distance Club (a daily running club connecting myself to students with a similar passion).I am eager to see what my upcoming years hold for me in San Luis Obispo both in and outside Cal Poly. I have always been a go-getter who seeks new growth opportunities, and I do not doubt that I will continue to foster this growth during my time here.
