With over 30 years of experience as a family physician, I have provided direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, in rural and urban environments, and in military and civilian contexts. I have also performed minor procedures, mentored students and allied health professionals, and flown air evacuation missions in helicopters. I am board certified in family medicine and hold medical licenses in Kentucky and Tennessee.Currently, I serve as the Medical Director at Best Care LLC, a two-NP clinic that offers consultation and approval of administrative policies, and review of NP charts monthly to ensure quality of care and adherence to clinical practice guidelines. I also hold the same position at One Cross Health Clinic, a six-NP clinic with similar responsibilities. I am passionate about improving healthcare outcomes, reducing costs, and enhancing patient satisfaction. I have taken several courses in risk management, peer review, and utilization management, and I am skilled in oral and written communication, team leadership, and decision making. I am looking for nonclinical opportunities that leverage my expertise and experience in these areas.Relocating to Bowling Green KY area in 2025 and desire to transition into a nonclinical remote job.
