With over 11 years of experience in higher education, I am passionate about enhancing student development and success through housing and residence life. As the Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life at University of West Georgia, I oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and operations of 6 residence halls that accommodate more than 2,800 students. I also collaborate with various campus partners to provide quality programs and services that foster a diverse, inclusive, and engaging living and learning environment. Previously, I served as the Director and Interim Director of Housing and Residence Life at UWG, where I implemented several initiatives to improve student retention, satisfaction, and safety, as well as to increase occupancy and revenue. I am finishing a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from UWG, and I have completed multiple certifications in social and behavioral research and responsible conduct of research. My research focus is on the evolution of supervisory skills. I have also developed and honed my skills in student affairs, student development, higher education, leadership, communication, and collaboration. I am committed to advancing the mission and vision of UWG and supporting its students, faculty, and staff.
