This is a critical role in our New Zealand team, key to the success of the Pride & Joy New Zealand business. This Auckland based role is focused on providing business development, training and operational support and expertise to our sales outlets nationwide. This is a unique start up company operating largely from St John’s, Auckland with retail outlets throughout New Zealand. KEY RESPONSIBILITES• Maximise retail sales nationwide • Development and execution of retail training, marketing and sales development for each outlet• Performance management and professional development of direct reports• Manage the recruitment process for all retail outlets• Retail location development and securement • Troubleshooting provision and operational support• Work closely with the manufacturing team • Deliver excellent communication and leadership for the New Zealand operation

Working alongside the Human Resources department, my role was created to maintain a positive work place culture; through promoting and increasing awareness of vision and values, and ensuring alignment to JUCY’s strategy.I created the current recruitment and induction process for all new employees across the company. Carrying out much of the Auckland based recruitment to assist the department managers: This included the Head of Marketing role and Global Sales Manager.I was the first point of contact for all new staff, internationally, and the voice of inter company communication.JUCY is a company of over 250 staff, with people working in 4 different countries. By implementing an internal social media system, I helped bridge the physical and mental gap to bring the workplace together for a happier more engaging environment.
