Working across England and the Republic of Ireland in a range of both shorter and longer-term projects, I have supported organisations to develop and improve services by carrying out service reviews of core housing management services; working with teams to implement service improvement plans; developing strategies, policies and procedures and assisting with new IT implementations. I also provide interim management.

Having carried out various income and welfare reform projects, I am currently working with CIH consultancy to deliver the latest in a series of "Working Together..." projects - "Working Together to Collect the Rent". This project draws on the latest thinking to develop clear pathways to income maximisation and practical workshops are supported by bespoke consultancy to meet the specific needs of your organisation. Following an organisational merger, I played a key role in influencing strategic change through transforming business processes and managing culture change.Key achievements include:• Lead officer for organisation's "Prospects for Improvement", making significant improvements and achieving a rating of "excellent" in a Short Notice Inspection;• Commended by the Audit Commission for leading, planning, co-ordinating and managing the overall resources for a successful inspection;• Project managed an internal self-assessment against regulatory standards in order to improve performance;• Managed a project to produce 30 key housing management policies and procedures.

Reported directly to the Chief Executive, Richard Clark OBE, in a predominantly strategic role. Extensive housing management skills and excellent organisation-wide relationships supported effective delivery on a diverse range of projects.

Established and managed a new specialist income management team of 10 staff. The team provided a rent collection service, benefit advice and legal service to 12,000 residents: • Implemented the new IT system and processes developed as Project Manager (2004-5), including a communications strategy and staff training.• Successfully established a new team, leading through a period of organisational restructure involving significant change and uncertainty and maintained high staff retention. • Effectively integrated practices and procedures with other parts of the organisation.

Project managed the development of new processes for income collection, as part of a whole company restructure with new business processes and IT systems: • Led on the system design consultation with internal and external customers.• Liaised with and managed the relationship with external IT consultants.• Worked with IT to build the processes into the new IT system.• Collaborated with colleagues across the business to ensure seamless “hand offs” between all company processes.

Led a small team of Housing Officers and Administration Assistants to provide a generic housing management service to 1000 residents:• Developed 4 members of the team who subsequently gained promotion within the organisation.• Met or exceeded income collection and allocations targets each year.

At St Basil's, in a wide range of their projects provided care and support to homeless young people.At Copec Housing Trust and Focus Housing, held positions of Area Housing Officer and Senior Housing Officer.
