Created, owned, managed and grew a small, successful agritourism business located on an award-winning wine trail in the Finger Lakes Region of New York.● Managed daily operations for 3 farm stays which included guest relations, volunteers, staff, reservation management, communications and maintenance of the property. We hosted hundreds of guests visiting from all over the world during the 8 years we offered accommodation.● Managed an extremely busy seasonal farm stand located on the property for direct to consumer and wholesale sales (restaurant and producers). The farm stand featured products from over 50 area farmers and producers, purchasing directly from area farms and regularly at regional produce auctions.● Designed, built, managed and operated an USDA licensed commercial kitchen on site.● Initiated and thoughtfully grew relationships with area farmers, producers and business owners, building trust and increasing sales over nearly 20 years in operation.
